Personal Training vs. Health Coaching

Personal Training

involves a direct evaluation of your personal fitness level. You will be provided with a personal fitness plan to meet your needs and safely bring you closer to your fitness goals. We will address your calorie intake and how this relates to level of physical activity as well as look at the recommended level physical activity based on your fitness level, age, and goals. Your sessions can be designed to meet your needs whether that means having me join you for a workout, or meet to discuss in detail your fitness plan, goals, science, and nutrition or a combination of both. Personal Training sessions will include some components found in health coaching including eating suggestions, but the primary focus is on fitness.

Health & Wellness Coaching

simply put is about lifestyle. We will discuss your current lifestyle including fitness and eating habits and work together to make positive shifts. Specifically, this involves finding a balance between all areas of wellness: intellectual, occupational, emotional, physical, environmental, social, financial, and spiritual.

Who should sign up for

Health & Wellness Coaching? 

This is a great program for those looking for more balance in their overall lifestyle. Although, Health and Wellness Coaching can include a fitness evaluation and suggestions, this is not the major component of our sessions (see personal training).

Individuals who don’t know where to start with any type of physical activity plan. As well, as those who are seasoned fitness enthusiasts and athletes looking to reach new goals and refresh their current physical activity regimen.
